Invoice not paid:

Crime or negligence?

Debt collection companies for debtors simply explained

Anyone who knowingly commits a bill skipping event can be sentenced to up to three years in prison. The situation is different if you do not pay a bill immediately or are unable to pay it at the time.

But you should always be clear about one thing: unpaid bills are not a trivial offense. They have a negative impact on the people and companies to whom you owe a payment. With all the consequences that entails, including bankruptcy.

Cooperation required:

How to avoid the debt trap

It also has a negative impact on your own future plans, because every bill you don't pay worsens your Schufa entry.

What means: In the foreseeable future, you will no longer be able to conclude contracts that require regular payments, such as cell phone or rental contracts, installment purchases or credit card orders. You will no longer be able to move into a new rental apartment and, in the worst case, this will result in a criminal offense (fraud).

In order to protect yourself from the debt trap that can lead you into trouble, you should be cooperative when we contact you as a debt collection agency. Because it is not we who have an outstanding bill with you, but our clients. And we will do what we can to resolve the matter amicably and in direct discussions with all parties involved.

By telephone, in writing or in person:

Together we will find a solution

If you receive a letter from us, it will contain a file number and precise information about which claims are still outstanding and which reminder or collection fees will be incurred. Are you able to pay the amount directly? Then just do it and the matter is settled. If you are unable to afford the amount at this time, please contact us so that we can work together to create a payment plan or work on a solution.

Please contact us in writing and always remember to include your current address details and the file number. This is not just a formality - it is also about protecting your data, because of course we can only provide information if the letter can be clearly assigned.

And precisely because we work thoroughly, our involvement as a debt collection agency results in costs that are regulated by law and are included in the reminder demand. If your creditor has commissioned us to obtain the payments, direct payment of the invoice to the creditor is no longer possible. All transfers or cash payments must therefore be made directly to us as a debt collection agency.

Get out of debt!

Do you have any further questions or would you like to agree on special payment terms with us? We are here for you: just call us or use our contact form so that we can call you back immediately.
